FIVE FACTS:

.001. Valrick was the first born child to the Marquis and Marquise Vaisey, he came into the world kicking and screaming with his eyes open. Since his birth his parents attempted to 'groom' him for the future that he'd have as a Marquis. He wanted nothing to do with it for the most part and took a more physical lifestyle. His younger years were filled with sports, watching over the Salazar girl, and prepping himself for a military career. Over that period of time he built a very sturdy relationship with Paola Salazar and more or less assigned himself the role of her pseudo older brother. A daunting task since the young girl was a handful even for her parents. He managed and built a very close relationship with her whilst doing his best to keep her out of trouble.

.002. When he was finally old enough, Valrick enlisted in the military against his mother's wishes. The young man seemed to breeze through his training and was selected to continue that training to become a member of the more specialized task force the military had to offer. He never really did or has spoken much about his time in service. All that is really known is that he developed a friendship with the now King, Stephan St. James.

.003. Battle-worn and suffering from a mild case of PTSD, Valrick came out the other side of his service in the military with several awards and recognitions for acts of heroism. At the age of 32, he was finally knighted by his old friend the King. An event that caused a bit of drama since he wasn't necessarily at the top of the list to be granted the pleasure. It was then he took a place at Court to remain closer to Stephan as well as finally getting back in contact with his darling pseudo little sister, Paola. Staying out of the limelight wasn't an easy task, even for someone as well trained as he was, those damned reporters and paparazzi seemed to have further training. Actions he wanted to keep hidden behind his own closed doors soon found their way out, earning him the 'bad boy' label and also being called a misogynistic womanizer. It wasn't far off from the truth but he's never really addressed the accusations outright.

.004.Valrick has never done himself any favors regarding the general public's view of him, instead he provokes it. Thankfully the press seems more interested in the princesses and ladies of the court and what they're getting into so most of his illicit actions go unnoticed. Shortly after his knighting he made it very publicly known that he had no intentions of ever marrying or having children instead he vowed to spend his time at court assisting the King and watching over the unruly young women that seemed to fill it. Which hasn't really earned him very many friends but rather the 'title' of being a hard-handed asshole when it comes to dealing with most situations. That doesn't mean that he cannot or doesn't show restraint, Valrick does plenty 'behind the scenes' that goes unnoticed and unappreciated.

.005.As of lately, Valrick spends most of his time with Paola in an attempt to catch up on the years he missed away from her. Though he is splitting that time with his usual duties and spending plenty of time drowning himself in women and alcohol. Occasionally he's known to lend his talents to give some of the guards some time off and take their place when the royals need escorts around the city or what-not. He's also been busy attempting to squash any revolt that may rear it's head against the King.
